Nitwits OOh La La

What lovely weather we are having here in NW England , too hot to craft really , the afternoon sun turns my craft room into an oven .
After visiting Pauline's blog , I had to have the new Nitwit digi papers called Ooh La La, they have poodles so it was a must have . This card features the beautiful papers. The outer die is Tonic Venetian lace , it is a large die collection containing 11 dies , this is the biggest  7.5" square , I do like to make big cards lately . The butterflies use to dies , the inner 2 are a free gift with a carft mag , the outer one was a bargin buy for a £1 at a craft fair , it's by Do craft. The pearl trim used for the butterfly body is from crabapple crafts .

Tonic Kensington Handbag

Good morning crafting friends , hasn't it been such a lovely week weather wise , in the UK ,long may it last . I for one have been enjoying the garden and eating healthy meals with a bit of crafting mixed in .  I saw this die on create and craft and thought I must have it . I saw lots of gorgeous bags on the web and some in lovely acetate boxes . I only had A4 acetate , so this is my version with a card back to match the bag . To be honest the box is harder to make than the bag . I'm going to order some A3 acetate form the web and get handbag and box making , I think if I sold these they might be popular , what do you think ?

products used :Tonic Kensington Handbag Die , pink card and stripped card , pearl strings form my

challenges entered : Allsorts : in the pink

Mairanne Design Petra's Bird's

Good morning crafting people , not a bad day today , dry but a bit cloudy . All that rain has done the gardens good but not done much for the spirit , not to mention my sore hands .
The  card I've featured today use one of my favourite dies Marianne Design Petra's Bird's .The  die highlighted with inks and pro markers . The sentiment is from MFT , a clear stamp set and is called blue skies ahead . The image is a Mattie's Mooiste. I embossed the whole card back and front and inked with salty ocean  ink from Tim Holtz . I added 2 lilac Mairanne design roses for the finishing touch .

I'll end with a picture of the garden showing how beautiful the ceanothus and the clematis look.

Sue Wilson striplet die quilted block and pettie peonies

A big hello to fellow crafters , hope you are well , I have been looking in on your blogs ...great work
Long time no blog  for me . I've still been crafting , I put my cards on pinterest . I have trouble with my hands now so to much typing hurts and doing all that commenting is not for me any more . I'm going to show my cards , for reference for me if nothing else and if anyone likes them well that's a bonus .

For my card  I used a Sue Wilson striplet die called  quilted block (used twice ),pettie peonies cut in black and lilac  , nested circles and a topper from my stash.

enjoy your day jane x

Gruffie with pizza....relax

I've still got blocked ears , it's driving me mad !!!!!!
To keep my mind off it a spot of colouring , always relaxing , well for me anyway .
I've used  a gruffie stamp from the stamp set "slice of happiness " from Joanna Sheen , I've coloured with promarkers , the shading on the grey fur is the trickiest to get right.
My papers are "Neroli " by first edition 6x6 pad. The sentiment is lili of the valley and the cola bottle (love this new buy ) is a die from Taylored Expressions with added gold letter peeloffs and stars. I've added a star button threaded with red butchers twine for a finishing touch.
This card would be perfect for my brother who is a pizza lover , well aren't we all , so naughty but nice!
